Lunch breaks with heyodavo are the best; biked to the river market for salads and hang time.
Way more exciting than a lunch workout!
I’m so blessed to have this beautiful man in my life!

Excited to hit up the windy city in a week and go for a run with the bf man himself!
I love my friends so much!! These are two of my gay Christian brothers (Kev & David) serenading another guy (Dustin) from our bible study for his bday.
… So we talked about work, about God, about church, about Phil. About life. And it was comfortable. And I was happy. I don’t see David very often, and I miss him. There is much I have to learn about life from David, and I often wish our schedules weren’t so very different and crazy. But it got me thinking about my conversation with my friend at the coffee shop, who took it upon himself to determine that David was bound for an eternity in hell. If that’s the case, my future is sealed there as well. Because no matter the “sins” David may or may not commit, I am no better or worse. The fact that my wife, my partner, is female, and David’s partner is male, has absolutely no bearing on who we are. Or how we follow Jesus …
Jake, I was a complete mess of tears after I read this. Thank you for exhibiting the love of Christ in the places where life doesn’t always have clear answers. You and Jen continue to bless me beyond belief!
What an incredible weekend trip to STL, filled with friends and awesome conversations! These dudes are such an encouragement to my faith!
From left to right: Andrew, Gregg, Tyler, me, and Phil
Headed to the STL this weekend to hang out with some of my favorite people! Woot! Stoked to chill will Phil, Tyler, and Gregg - and also to meet Andrew in person for the first time.
Me and my gay Christian brothers (all side A) right after my non-affirming church’s sermon (Side X) on homosexuality. Three of us currently attend the church. Everyone else joined us to show support. We had a three-hour lunch afterward during which we prayed and discussed thoughts and reactions to the material presented.
Missing Alaska with my buddy Mego at work today over some Henry Weinhard’s.
